I recently went through the VIP Image revamp process with Lisa Ann. What an absolute genius solution for C-suite women.  I had needed new headshots for years - the weird selfie from 2015 was well past its expiration date! Yet the thought of a photo shoot terrified me. I’m a successful COO and entrepreneur, and manage systems and details on the daily.  But the idea of a photo shoot scared me on a personal level, so much so that I’d procrastinated for over 3 years. I realized that a part of my anxiety was that it just seemed like too much for me to manage on top of everything else that I manage. Enter Lisa Ann of LASS Wardrobe, LLC.

The true gift of Lisa’s offering is her phenomenal depth of knowledge.  As an industry insider for decades, she knows exactly what needs to be done - from coordinating hair and makeup, working with a skin care expert to prepare my best face to put forward, doing a test makeup day to get used to the feel of it, and to connecting me with the perfect photographer for me, she coordinated and guided each aspect of the process. Her connections to other creatives gave me options to find the team that resonated the most with me. There was no pressure, only boundless support and encouragement. The day of my photo shoot was filled with laughter, joy, and magic.

Another aspect was curating a look for both my personal and professional life. In addition to my COO work, I’m a single lady and Spiritual Mentor. I wanted a look that could span all three aspects of my life, and in which I felt like Me, no matter what I was wearing.  Given my wardrobe had reduced itself to leggings, tank tops and a few cardigans, my closet needed a total reboot!  LASS guided me through the letting go process, using her discerning eye to guide me to what pieces I had that were reflective of who I am now, post COVID and a few years of personal difficulty, and letting the rest go.  With a nearly empty closet to work with, we thoughtfully built a look for me that is casual, elegant, comfortable, and goes seamlessly from work to play and beyond.  Did it push me out of my comfort zone - absolutely. Was it worth the discomfort of accepting my body as it is at this moment - 1000% yes! There is not one piece of clothing in my wardrobe that I don’t feel comfortable in and love how I look, COVID weight increase and all. And I ultimately spent way less than I would have if I had been shopping unattended (which would have resulted in buying multiple black pieces that are essentially the same, and spending too much for them!). And when I freaked out, which I did, Lisa talked me through my inner hurricane with her calm, reasoned, and compassionate heart.

For me, the wardrobe is just the icing on the cake. This process, which Lisa made simple and easy for me to work with, supported me in healing outdated views of myself, and challenged my old self perceptions. It was an opportunity to fully embrace who I am now, in this moment, in my power and my sovereignty. Which is exactly what I do in my spiritual mentoring work. There is a beauty that the self reflection of her process mirrors what I am offering in the world.  Working with Lisa fundamentally supports my authentic self expression, and claiming my unique style.  Even though I now feel more empowered than ever in my wardrobe, Lisa will be my go to for keeping my outer style reflective of my inner vibe!  The best part about working with her is the collaboration and connection with her.  As I evolve, so will my wardrobe and image, and having LASS as my guide and advocate for sustainable self expression is key. She is an absolute treasure!
